The Mission of the Aphasia Café is to improve communication skills using expressive and receptive activities in a safe environment. Get together with others who have aphasia, family, and friends, and volunteers for:

Step into nature in a safe, aphasia-friendly environment at this 4-day camp. Participation, communication and fun are encouraged!

        WHEN?

*Unfortunately, Aphasia Camp was not offered in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19. It is not yet confirmed whether it will run in 2022. Stay tuned for updates.

Last Aphasia Camp ran from August 30th - September 2nd 2019.

 

WHERE?

The Aphasia Camp is held at the Brigadoon Village, nestled in the heart of the Annapolis Valley on the shores of beautiful Aylesford Lake, Nova Scotia. Brigadoon Village is approximately 15 minutes from Kentville and New Minas.

HOW TO APPLY?
